Samurai Zen is a meditation app. We store what is needed to keep your practice history in sync across your devices, and nothing else. We do not track you, we do not run ads, we do not use analytics, and we never sell or share your data with anyone for marketing.
You can use the app without an account. If you do, nothing leaves your phone.

If you use Sign in with Apple and choose Hide My Email, we only ever receive Apple's private relay address. We never see your real address.
That is the complete list. We do not record audio, and we do not access your microphone, camera, contacts, photos or location. The app does not request permission for any of these because it does not use them.
Apple Health. If you turn on Apple Health in Profile, the app writes each finished practice to Health as a mindful session — nothing more. It asks for permission at the moment you turn it on, never at launch, and it requests write access only: it cannot read any health data and never does. This stays on your device, between the app and Health. It is never sent to us or to anyone else, and turning the setting off stops it. You can also revoke it at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Health.
